 Just follow the instructions on the website, you will pay by debit card (safe payment on a bank site) when you accept your order.

 Proceed with your internet order as usual. Then print out your order form completed with references, send this in a stamped, addressed envelope to the above address. You can pay by cheque or by debit card. Make out your cheque to “Le Comptoir de l’Encens ». If you want to pay by debit card clearly write down the number and expiry date of your card and don’t forget to sign in the reserved space. Do not send cash payment.

 You can contact us from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm. Don’t forget to prepare your order and your debit card when you call if this is how you want to pay.

Following-up your order : Once your order made on the website has been accepted, you will receive confirmation by e-mail. If a problem arises, you will also be informed by e-mail.

Delivery :

 FREE DELIVERY :

Delivery costs are free for all orders delivered in metropolitan France for any amount over 50 €. Other countries and French overseas departments, please contact us.

DELIVERY COSTS :

 You may be delivered at the address of your choice. Delivery will be made to the address that you enter when you sign up on the website. You can modify your details at any time.

Participation in delivery costs amounts to 6 €. This fee is for a delivery in Metropolitan France only. Our delivery times are generally between 5 and 7 working days. Other countries and French overseas territories, please contact us. 

Price of items

 The prices shown are the VAT Inc. general public prices recommended by the manufacturer “Les Encens du Monde”.

Item availability

 We do our very best to ensure the availability of our items. If a particular item is not in stock, the amount will automatically be deducted from your order and the corresponding sum of money received will be refunded by cheque.

Returns and exchanges

 We want you to be totally satisfied with the items that you order. In compliance with the law of the 6th January 1988, you will have revocation period of seven full days as from reception of your order within which to return the items. We will proceed with an exchange or refund according to your desire. 

 If you decide to apply the revocation period, “Le Comptoir de l’Encens” will refund the corresponding amounts, which you have paid, penalty-free. You will, however, remain liable for delivery costs.

 Beyond the 7 day revocation period, no item can be returned without prior written consent on our behalf.

 In this case, a credit note will be drawn out and you will, in any case, remain liable for delivery costs.

 The items must be returned, un-used,  in their original packaging, with a copy of the invoice, to :

The goods travel under your responsibility and any items that arrive damaged will not be refunded in return.

Acceptance of general sales conditions

 Prior to all transactions, you acknowledge that you have read the present general conditions and expressly declare that you accept these when you tick the "I accept the General Sales Conditions and agree without reserve” on the website or when you sign the paper order form.  

Payment

 DEBIT CARD ON THE SECURE SITE:

 Your debit card numbers and expiry date are instantaneously encrypted in your machine prior to being sent on the SSL protocol. As this information is thus rendered illegible no one can use it without your knowing : payment by debit card is therefore entirely secure. 

In the payment step of the transaction, you will be transferred to the website of our banking partner. This information is not stored on our server; you will therefore be obliged to communicate it at each new order. 

 We accept payment by Visa et Mastercard.

PAYMENT BY POST OR BANK CHEQUE (foreign cheques are not accepted) :

Include a cheque with your order form by post. Your order will be processed once your cheque has been endorsed, this may extend delivery times. Always attach to your payment your identifier and the order No. that was given to you when your order was recorded.

Confidentiality

 Our Internet server automatically recognises the domain name (internet access provider) and, when possible, the e-mail address of the web users who visit our site. We centralise the domain names for statistical purposes. We use the information communicated to improve the contents of our website pages. 

 We keep your information (except that concerning your debit card) in digital form. You can, of course, as provisioned in article 27 of the law of the 6thJanuary 1978, at all times rectify your data. Without opposition on your behalf, “Comptoir de l’Encens” may, on occasion, communicate your details to carefully selected commercial partners.
